Kotka

Kotka is a city in the southern part of Kymenlaakso Province, on the coast of the Gulf of Finland. Kotka is a major port and industrial city, as well as a diverse educational and cultural city. The city has 50 891 inhabitants, of whom about 95.5 % are Finnish speakers, about 1.1 % are Swedish speakers and 3.5 % speak other languages. The events, activities and services offered by the local church congregations are open to all. The German Congregation here regularly organises church services and other events in German language
