Summer opening hours and public holidays in the parish

The kindergarten is closed from 22.6. until 6.8.2023. Contact in urgent matters via the church office in Helsinki.

Pastor Hans-Christian Beutel has been officially bidden farewell in the service in Helsinki on 4.6.2023. Lead Pastor Tina Meyn is on leave from 15.6. to 13.7. Her replacement will be Provost Hans-Christian Daniel, email [email protected], phone +358 40 540 0005. Pastor Päivi Lukkari will begin her ministry in our congregation on 1 August 2023. Cantor Agnes Goerke and Deacon Timo Sentzke are also on summer leave.

The director of the retirement home Gulmira Akbulatova-Loijas is on holiday from 10.7. In urgent matters, also contact the parish office in Helsinki.

Many groups and circles take a break during the summer months - nevertheless, the church garden in Helsinki invites you to linger: the small picnic box is available daily to anyone who wants a little break from the dusty, hot city.

The German Church in Helsinki is open to visitors on weekdays from 10 am - 5 pm during the summer season and is supervised by our parish youth. In the organ loft this summer we have an interesting exhibition about the fortified churches in Transylvania and Scandinavia… we wish everyone a relaxing and sunny summer!
