Rovaniemi is the regional centre of Lapland and is located near the Arctic Circle at the confluence of the Kemijoki and Ounas rivers. In terms of population, Rovaniemi is the 17th largest city in Finland—but in terms of area, it is the largest in Finland and Europe. Rovaniemi is the northernmost city in Finland. The events, activities and services offered by the Rovaniemi parish are open to all. The German Congregation here regularly organises church services and other events in German language.

A Finnish–German association also meets in Rovaniemi… more information on the association's events and other activities and its contact details can be found on the Website of the Federation of Finnish–German Associations (SSYLThe link opens in a new tab).
