Salo

Salo is a city of around 51 300 inhabitants in south-west Finland. It is part of the region of Southwest Finland. Salo is 52 km from Turku and 114 km from Helsinki. Salo is located by the sea, at the bottom of the narrow Halikonlahti bay. The parish of Salo comprises ten regional parishes and there are 15 churches in the area. All the events, activities and services offered by the local parishes are open to everyone. The German Congregation here regularly organises services and other events in German language.
